After feeling some severe performance anxiety over my portfolio projects I decided to do something more in my comfort-zone. Here are Din, Veda and Parilla, three characters I designed to fit into the universe of Breath of the wild! Instead of pushing the limits of these three races I decided to keep them simple enough to not stand out too much among the game's NPCs, while still giving them a bit of Elsa flavor. I decided to work in an artstyle I'm comfortable in, but made sure the designs are close enough to the game's style that you can seamlessly translate these into 3D models for implementation.
I also gave Din a sick bow that duals as two swords rotating a central orb! Not especially realistic, but I decided to have fun with it and create some opportunities for interesting battle mechanics and animations.
